Calvary​​ Baptist Church

Worship is for God. This is our guiding principle at Calvary Baptist Church of Lenexa.

 

We believe that worship should be focused on God rather than individuals and personal preferences. Worship at Calvary is governed by the Word of God. We worship and glorify God, which, in turn, gives us joy. He is the audience of our worship.

 

So many churches today structure their music and preaching around what people like. This is not the case at Calvary. 

 

We sing a variety of hymns and contemporary Christian songs that are theologically rich and Trinitarian in nature.

 

We believe in expositional preaching. This means that our pastors preach through the Bible verse-by-verse so that you can see what God has clearly revealed for mankind. The point of the sermon is always the point of the text.
